Sayed Ahmad Khomeini belonged to the holy and honorable family of clergymen, whose ancestors were from the well known Mujtahids of the hawzahs. The offspring of this blessed union was three sons called Hajj Sayed Hassan Khomeini, Hajj Sayed Yasir Khomeini, and Sayed Ali Khomeini. It is noteworthy that Sayed Ahmad Khomeini remained the most trusted figure and right hand of Imam Khomeini during the tough years of struggle and following the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979. The son of the grand Ayatollah Khomeini, leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran rendered great services before and after the victory in 1979. Sayed Ahmad Khomeini passed away 27 years ago in 1995. His services for the Islamic Revolution and the Muslim Ummah will always be remembered by the generations for decades to come
