The grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic made remarks while addressing a gathering of foreign guests attending the 34th passing anniversary of Imam, in the Iranian capital in Tehran.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that prior to the victory of the Islamic Revolution, if someone had to fight existing ruling system or capitalism, he had no option other than to become Marxist or to follow communism.
When the ruling powers had divided the world into two blocs, Imam revived true face of religion with real features and teachings which could combat all injustices and discriminations, the scholars said.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that the believers and faithful people should not stay indifferent towards oppression, injustice or discrimination in the society.
Earlier addressing the same seminar, the scholars through their lectures and speeches highlighted the spiritual and political influence of Imam's thought and ideals across various parts of the globe.
They described Imam's personality a unique, unprecedented and unmatchable in contemporary history and stressed that he was not only the leader of the Iranians but savior of the entire human community.
This comes as Scholars and researchers from around the world have gathered in the Iranian capital Tehran to discuss the views of the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini, as the 34th anniversary of his passing away approaches.
