It

recalled
by
a
prominent
cleric
through
a
series
of
memoirs that
he
had
beendeeply impressed by
Imam Khomeini when
he saw him
for the first
time at Faidiah
seminary in the holy city of Qom decades
ago.
Ayatollah Hajj Mansour ‘Asemi recalled that when he sought to start his career as a seminary student, he met various people with great spiritual background at the theological institution
But that day proved quite different when he suddenly saw Imam Khomeini, who was too different from other clergymen.
Imam had
special
charisma
and
seemed
blessed
with
great
knowledge
and
wisdom,
and always was surrounded by pu
pils.
