Sierra Leone Holds a Summit on Imam Khomeini

Iranian cultural center in Sierra Leone has held a summit in a bid to explore the unprecedented services rendered by Imam Khomeini to the Muslim world.

 The summit was held in the Sierra Leone’s capital and was attended by several local and regional academics, intellectuals, and university and seminary scholars.

The speakers highlighted significance and importance of role played by great religious and spiritual leader of the Muslim world in promoting the Islamic sciences and handling the social and political matters of Muslim community.

The participants and prominent figures also noted that Imam had taken very solid and concrete steps in order to cement the unity among all sects and communities of the Muslims. They further added that the founder of the Islamic Republic took serious efforts to create unity among all humanity.

Iranian cultural center director Mohammad Reza Ghazalsofla went on to say that great Imam had undertaken serious efforts to raise awareness and Islamic wakening among the Muslim nations.

He also noted that the great religious leader was a champion of unity among the Muslim world and opposed those who try to fracture this harmony among the Muslim Ummah.  

The cultural head also maintained that the personality of great Imam has been remained unique and matchless in our contemporary and past history.
